Everyone's getting smarter


In Q2 2009, one-third of mobile users were exposed to mobile advertising. Approximately 16% responded to mobile ads most frequently via text messages, MMS messages, emails, or by visiting a designated web sites.

Mobile ad revenues are predicted to outpace online ads in 2009. Yankee Group predicts a 60% jump in mobile advertising for 2009.

Smartphone subscribers increased by 72% to 26.1 million in 2008-2009 (Q2). Smartphone sales are projected to account for 46% of all mobile phone sales by 2013 worldwide.
